Edinburgh Memories

Edinburgh Memories
Once upon a time and for 3 years, we lived in the William Playfair House
in Edinburgh. Many of my painting images, symbols, and ideas were inspired
by the history and mystery alive within those walls, gardens,  and throughout Scotland.
A white iron settee in the back garden, where I painted and dreamed.

And, images below of the Royal Botanic Gardens that bordered our
back garden. We walked there most days and saw the Queen on a
few occasions.

Garden Muse / Concrete Planter

RITRINA
I am a Louisiana native living and painting in the Central New York
Finger Lakes Region. Ritrina was  my response to the devastation,
 upheaval of humans and wildlife, and the spirit of recovery from the
 2005 hurricanes Katrina and a month later, Rita along areas
of the US Gulf Coast.
This painting has been included in various exhibitions in the US.
